Who we are
More Conservative government would prove disastrous for the country, with threats to the National Health Service and vital public services even more serious than ever before. We stand on the precipice of a hard Brexit and potential withdrawal from the European Convention on Human Rights, with workers rights and our environmental protections all hanging in the balance.
To help stop this from happening, Campaign Together will support thousands of people to get door knocking and talking to people in their communities between now and the next General Election. Until then we will register thousands of young voters, and campaign to turn councils from Conservative control.
We are currently recruiting for two freelance roles - Lead Organiser and Organiser. You will be someone that wants to help us mobilise everybody who is not a member of a party, or whose chosen party does not stand a chance in their seat, to campaign together to get rid of this disastrous and dangerous government. We will organise patiently in communities, train ordinary people to become leaders, and mobilise 10,000 canvassers over the course of the campaign, flooding marginal seats and helping beat progressive parties to beat Conservative candidates in 50 parliamentary constituencies across the UK.The Lead Organiser role will be responsible for leading and running the campaign, and liaising with and supporting our voluntary Management Board.
Both the Lead Organiser and Organiser roles will be responsible for reactivating our volunteer base and recruiting skilled volunteers to be leaders in their areas and in our targeted constituencies. “Big Organising” means lowering the barriers to getting involved, and giving volunteers the agency, training, and support to create a truly volunteer-led movement that reflects and resonates with people beyond party lines, and can reach those who may have never taken action before.
